We did some looking around and found that the Franklin Pocket speller not only had a large number of words but it also came with games for Freddy to play. We thought the games might encourage him to pick up the pocket speller more so we opted for this model. The pocket speller has worked like a charm, not only does he use it to practice his spelling, but he loves to play the anagram and hangman games on it. An added benefit is the games are helping him with his vocabulary as well, and we have seen a definite improvement in his spelling and English grades.
