Casio F91W-1YEF Casual Digital Watch Casio has long been a leader in digital watch technology and the Casio F91W-1YEF Casual Digital Sports watch is a classic example of this. Reminiscent of the early Casio LCD watches this model comes with a black resin upper case and band with a stainless steel back. The case is water resistant to 100 meters or more and should stand up to showering or getting it wet in the rain however water resistant is not necessarily waterproof. The is a very casual wear watch and has a daily alarm function as well as a 1/100th second stop watch. The calendar is auto formatted for the next 30 years to match up with leap years. Displays the time in 12 or 24 hour mode and the display is backlit using Casio's Microlight technology. He took me to the store and said it was time for me to have a proper watch and let me pick the one I wanted. I picked out this watch and now that I am 21 I still have it. I do not wear it all the time anymore, but for the first few years it never left my wrist. Despite being told that I had to take it off when I took a shower, I didn''t bother half the time and never had a problem. This watch has been responsible for me being on time to more special events and dates in my life than I can count. Even though I have other watches, this classic Casio watch is still my favorite. Believe it or not it still has the original strap and battery.
