The ring is lilac colored on the half of the face that represents after the hour and pink on the side the shows times before the hour. This Princess watch features all three hands including a sweep second hand and accurate time is kept using a high quality quartz analog movement. It comes complete with a long life battery so that you do not have to worry about replacing the battery for a very long time. The strap is molded in lilac rubberized PU and has a pretty princess on each side and fastens using a stainless steel buckle. There are several holes pre-punched in the strap to make sure it will fit most wrists. Like most Ravel watches the Princess watch comes in a clear presentation case that can be used when you are giving it as a gift or is quite strong enough to be used for a shipping container. So I asked my daughter what she thought Jazz would like for a gift. The first words out of her mouth were a new watch. Granted at 6 I was not about to go out and spend a fortune on a new watch for her, we all know how 6 year olds can be. Jazz is quite a good little girl and both her mum and dad call her their little princess so when I found this watch I could not resist. Since she is just learning how to tell the time a time teaching watch was even better. You should have seen her eyes light up when she opened the package with her new watch in it. This is really cute watch and well worth the money. Now my own daughter wants one, good thing she has a birthday coming up soon.
